Thomas Hansen, M.A., BCBA, NYC LBA | Executive Director of Clinical Services, Pivotal ABA

As the Executive Director of Clinical Services at Pivotal ABA, I am committed to providing exceptional, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy that transforms the lives of children and families across Northern New Jersey. With over 25 years of experience in the field of special education, I specialize in delivering the highest standard of care to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

At Pivotal ABA, we pride ourselves on our intimate, highly personalized approach to service delivery. We don’t simply implement interventions; we build meaningful, lasting change by addressing each child’s unique needs and empowering their growth. Our approach is not only evidence-based, but it also reflects a deep understanding of the importance of tailoring strategies to foster independence and long-term success.

I hold a Master's degree in Special Education, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both earned with honors. As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (NYC LBA), I bring a sophisticated blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the families we serve.

With a focus on innovation, inclusivity, and exceptional outcomes, my team and I at Pivotal ABA work collaboratively with families to ensure that every individual receives the support and services they need to thrive.
